Myanmar-visiting Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on Thursday
in Rangoon met renowned oppositionist and Nobel Peace Prize holder Aung
San Suu Kyi, whom he invited to visit Poland.

Sikorski assured Suu Kyi of Poland's support for democratic change in Myanmar.
Also on Thursday the Polish minister opened a democracy workshop for journalists, politicians and NGOs in Myanmarand.
"You are not alone in your struggle for change. You have many friends ready to help you. Poland and other EU countries are among them," he said, opening a "Democracy - Lessons Learned" debate.
