Singapore firm ITHL to build fibre cable network in Myanmar

A Singapore-based company International Telecommunication Holding Ltd (ITHL) has reached an agreement with Myanmar to help build fiber cable network for the country, said the Myanmar media on Tuesday.
ITHL will build optical fiber cable network in Myanmar for better telephone connection and swift internet data flow.

Myanmar has rolled out several telecommunication infrastructure projects for its speedy development of its Information Technology (IT) sector.

As of current, the nation has a coverage of 10,000 kilometres of fiber optic cables, 335 digital microwave stations and 75 IP microwave stations.
